Reclaiming Our Hearts and Minds - Community Healing Love!

Announcing our 2019 BLD Community Healing Love awardee!

What happens when your romantic love is also your healing love?

*Magic happens.
*Family happens.
*You awake to your best friend – every day.
*Arguments - though tough - are portals for greater understanding and healing. Even the salty tears become sweet.
*The longer you’re together; the stronger you become – individually.

*The years fly by and complete strangers stop you regularly. They greet you with wide-eyed amazement, with applauding smiles and sometimes with encouraging words. They are saluting a love – defying your growing grey – that is still celebrated by the simple act of you and your love spontaneously holding hands coming out of the farmers market. Such a love is not born of individuals in their couple silo, it's a product of community healing and it also fosters healing in the family and community. This kind of love has roots and wings.
It gives us great pleasure to announce our Black Love Community Healing Love awardee for 2019. He is a community healer, a brother, and a friend. His name is Oronde Yero!

Oronde Yero is a Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Brother Yero also provides individual and family counseling services. As a life coach, he assists clients in achieve goals, overcome obstacles and live in alignment with their life’s purpose. He is also the author of the book Self-Rule: Reclaiming Your Inner-Life, Light and Sovereign Self.

Oronde says:

"My purpose is to serve as a healer, helper, and guide to those facing life challenges. My passion is in assisting others in finding healing, empowerment, and deeper insight into themselves. My central philosophy is that the answers and the healing we seek can be found within. It is my role to simply facilitate the healing and self-discovery process for my clients and community.
Join us and wrap your love and love aspirations in healing love.

This year - in recognition his untiring work to help heal our community- we lift our Brother. Please join us in lifting him up and join him as he receives this Black Love award.

Post comments below and celebrate 360 degrees of Black Love at our seventh annual Black Love-Akoma Love Celebration Feb. 9th at the Helen Mills Sn. Center in Downtown Atlanta.
